Our show spotlights high frequency standup comedians bringing light to the dark. Part-standup and part-meditation circle, we focus on engaging our audiences to reconnect with themselves. Our events incorporate an atmosphere of wellness to lift spirits and create a resonant, expansive and truly joyful experience.

Sacred Comedy is a spiritual podcast that examines the hilarity of healing and enlightenment. Join our guests (comedians and spiritual practitioners) as we discuss the challenges of human-ing in 3D and expanding into higher dimensional living. We joke about life, death, earth and beyond. We talk about intuition and psychic ability, aliens and astral travel, the divine feminine and divine masculine. At Sacred Comedy, we explore the connection points between comedic entertainment, and the new age spiritual world, bringing the woo to your hoo.
ABOUT
Jennifer Wai
As a Producer and an Energy Healer, I’ve had a lifelong passion for artful media and spirituality. Whether it was exploring the natural mysteries of my backyard or staging neighborhood plays in my driveway as a kid; studying buddhism or producing video music shows in college, I was always in active contemplation, and playing with visuals and sound.
After graduating with a degree in Television/Radio production, I moved into the world of content creation at the dawn of the dotcom boom. From there I worked in the entertainment industry on the business side. After 15 years of working in theater, advertising, and corporate media (and nearly losing my mind and soul in the process), I dove deep into developing my psychic awareness. I moved into the wellness space in 2017 with my practice specializing in trauma-informed psychic counseling and energy healing.
Sacred Comedy began as an intuitive download while studying the Akashic Records in 2019. It was a vision and a knowing that echoed ancient practices in which ritual and ceremony were infused with laughter. I was also meeting people who had created so many connection points between spirituality and comedic performance, and it became clear that a different form of healing could be accessed in a new, yet old way.
I created the Sacred Comedy shows to foster a multidimensional experience that combines the feeling of a weekend retreat with the joy and release of a good standup comedy show. As Sacred Comedy expands into new iterations, I’m grateful for this journey. Afterall, you only live many times,

Our comedians are true healers in their own right. While they heal through their craft of performance, some also heal through other professions such psychotherapy, reiki healing, psychic mediumship and tarot reading! Whether it’s the mastery of crowd work, or the intuitive understanding of the group’s energy, our modern-day priestesses raise the vibe in ways the audience can actually feel.
